If travelers from city center have limited time, due to heavy traffic congestion from your Vicinity area and worried you miss the flight at DM I suggest take BTS and MRT " Train"  off to Mo Chit BTS or MRT  station  it's very worth time saving and faster.  If your location is from the BCD such as  Asoke station, Silom, Siam, Udomsuk, Onut,  or farther better take BTS or MRT  off to Mo Chit station once you exit at gate 3 you can see foot bridge pointing to Chatuchat market at right side an escalator is pointing down direction  to A1 yellow bus stop.only 15  meters distance by  walk  from bts skytrain link   this A1 yellow bus is waiting for Passenger direct to Don Mueng Airport, the bus leave every 30 minutes. 


 This bus above is available  at Don Muang Airport. gate 6 and Mo Chit link to Bts and Mrt train station. A1 Express Bus is one of the best option to commute, forget about taxi if your location is from the heavy congested area of sukhumvit road, Chitlom, Silom, Ramkhangheng, or Ratchada area.

.If travellers arrive at Don Muang Airport, and looking for cheaper and faster transportation going to Bangkok City Center link to train station, try ride this A1 bus is always available infront of gate 6 at departure and arrival area this bus is always waiting for airport passenger up to 30 minutes this express bus is a non stop will run from Don Muang Airport off to Mo Chit link to train station, BTS and MRT.

Base on my experience last  year I travel Bangkok to Singapore  as I remember it’s a Friday   4 pm and it’s a salary end of the  month, the road is very traffic in sukhumvit 21, its already 20 minutes many cars at sukhumvit road through Ratchada road side are  moving very slow, I'm so desperate hoping to reach the Airport earlier as possible, we keep walking and looking for taxi, all taxi drivers I stop they refuse to used meter going to Dong Mueang Airport, And they ask me 550, 600, some is 700 baht fare. But I realized that we can’t reach to get to the airport on time.  so we don't take a cab,   we decided took a  BTS asoke Station that cost  60 baht each Luckily we have only 2 hand carry bags  we off to Mo Chit exit gate 3 then walk down the stairs   in front of Chatuchat  market turn right straight down to A1 bus stop is only about 15 meters distance. From bts stairs  We found this yellow bus is waiting for passenger  So we hurry to catch these bus luckily we arrive at Don Mueang Airport smooth earlier beyond our expectation. these Air-condition Yellow Bus No A1 fare is 30 baht per passenger per trip more convenience than other city bus if your destination is link to train station must better try sometimes these A1 bus if you think  have only a little time left to go to DM Airport. 

Express Yellow A1 Bus don Mueng Airport link to Mor Chit BTS and MRT  Train station  when we exit Gate 6 at departure  i found this bus waiting for Airport passenger in front of us. but be careful some of this bus from Subharnavumi airport bus link will drop and pickup  passenger at flat form 1st floor gate 5. pls contact the information center first.

  • From Don Mueng Airport to Mor Chit Bus Routes:

  • Yellow Bus NO. A1 at  gate no. 6 or 7 at arrival level Dong Mueng Airport  the advantage of this yellow shuttle express bus route  will pick up passenger  inbound pick up zones in front of gate 6 at Arrival  Level at 1st floor and also outbound departures 3 floor gate 6 at  Don Mueng airport, its more convenience for travelers when they exit gate 6 the bus is waiting in front of the door. The same as taxi, A1 Yellow Bus it’s an  express bus will drive to elevated toll way that link to DM Airport through Mor Chit  average travel trip 20 is minutes. these yellow bus runs from 7 am to 11:30 pm.fare 30 baht per trip per passenger.bus  will wait every 30 minutes, the bus leave if pull quickly. 
    • this Yellow Express Bus  link from Mor Chit to Don Mueng Airport bus will pick up or outbound passenger to Mor chit bus stop in front of BTS and MRT Train Station. and this area are the starting point they wait every 30 minutes to inbound passenger going to Don Mueng Airport, passenger can buy tickets inside the bus, the bus collector will check your purchase tickets  before express bus outbound to DM airport.

    Mor chit to Don mueng Airport Distance : is about 28 kilometers
    Mor Chit to Don Mueng Airport average travel Time: 18-25  Minutes but depence of heavy traffic congestion along Rangsit Road. Normally Monday and Friday from 5:30 pm through 8:00 pm specially end of the month this road have stressful traffic jams but early morning it takes only less than 15  minutes drive by bus or cars.

  •  Available City Bus  route  inbound and outbound bus stop outside DM airport travelers can used pedestrian bridge or pedestrian overpas link from airport to bus stop outside at Bhivabadhi Rangsit road this are located at second floor at DM.  required more walk to used Pedestrian Bridge.  if travelers have many big luggage or small family member, this are inconvenience compare to A1 bus just waiting infront of airport door that link to train station and also available from don muaeng airport to Suvarnabhumi airport.  but city bus is more cheaper that cost only average 8 baht per trip per passenger.
